The JV Spartans are finally back and playing at home playing against the Clarington Knights on Saturday June 29th, at 1:00pm at James Jerome field. After 3 tough games on the road, where they faced solid competition in North Halton, Toronto, and Woodstock, the JV Spartans come home with a 3-2 record after going 2-1 on the road and defeating North Halton and Woodstock in close games.
The JV Spartans have shown that they can compete with anyone in the league so far and have also displayed a great attitude towards the game. They never give up and are always playing with everything they have. Saturday’s game is pivotal as the JV Spartans are looking to clinch a playoff position.
The Clarington Knights are 2-3 heading into the game against the JV Spartans and they will prove to be a tough challenge.
Saturday’s game is proudly sponsored by CINTAS, who will be on hand with CINTAS cheering towels and coolers that they will be handing out to the first 150 people at the entrance to the game! One lucky fan will also win a special prize courtesy of CINTAS.
The game kicks off at 1:00pm and will be on rain or shine. Tickets for Saturday’s home game will be available at the gate for $5.00 and there will also be $3.00 Spartans programs available for fans as well.
